Hooked by Tyese
I was introduced to crocheting by my grandmother at a young age. She would make odd pillows and dolls. It wasn't until 2014 that I was reintroduced to crocheting by a cousin during the Thanksgiving holidays. I decided then that I really wanted to learn how to crochet. So I bought a hook and yarn and began to watch YouTube videos to begin my journey.
Over the last two years, I have graduated from scarves to larger projects such as blankets and sweaters. My husband uses the first blanket that I made during football season in his easy chair. After receiving a generous number of accolades and requests for my work, my daughter planted the seed that I should sell my work. Later, my hairstylist encouraged me try sweaters. As a result, I made one for her as a birthday gift. When I delivered it to her, I got my first request for a sale. It was then, and there, at Resurgence Beauty Lounge that Hooked by Tyese was born. It has been a journey and I am happy to be sharing my love of crocheting with you.
Special thanks to all who encouraged me to get this point. I wouldn't have gotten here without you!
