I have always loved making things with my hands, it is my therapy and joy. I am originally from Brazil and was taught by my grandmother how to knit when I was 17, but the warm weather of Brazil did not keep me interested for long. After moving to the state of Michigan and having my first child I picked up my needles again and haven't put them down since. My daughter Joana was the one who inspired me to start creating my own patterns, she is my little muse and my model. Simple and timeless pieces are what I am after when I am designing. Each piece is memory, a picture, a story. Now I live with my family in the North American Southwest, in the beautiful city of Santa Fe, New Mexico. It is here that I now find inspiration to keep creating.
