ABOUT THE PATTERN:
This is the newest addition to the Åsne family, a long cardigan, perfect for fall and winter. Knit with a delicious blend of alpaca and wool, it will be so soft you will live in this cardigan! You can make it even more luxurious by adding one strand of Lace Lang (Mohair + Silk) on a slightly darker or lighter shade. Oh, it features pockets! This is a surprisingly quick knit, and very, very satisfying!
Body is knit flat, bottom up. Sleeves are knit separately in the round, then joined at the yoke, which is worked flat. Pockets are knit as you go, no picking up stitches needed!
If using a different bulky weight yarn than suggested on this pattern, this is the proximate yardage you will need (you will use the same yardage of Lace Lang or other lace weight Mohair/Silk):
S 970 yds / 887 m
M 1068 yds / 977 m
L 1232 yds / 1127 m
XL 1415 yds / 1294 m
XL 1501 yds / 1373 m

TEST KNIT GUIDELINES:
- The deadline is May 6th.
- I would appreciate if you could post the finished project on your Ravelry account, linking it to the pattern page (I'll send the link when I upload the pattern on Ravelry ;).
- Please post the progress and/or a finished photo of your project, tagging me (@jojo.tricot) and using the hashtag #asneslongcardigan on your feed and stories.
- Also, I would love to have your feedback: is the pattern clear and pleasant to work with? Is it too small/big for the size? Things like that. Also, please let me if the yardage used in the project was accurate, specially if you’ve used a different kind of yarn then the one suggested.
Once again, thank you so much for helping me by testing this pattern! I really hope you enjoy your time working at it and love the end result as much as I did! And please let me know if I can clarify any question you may have during the process.
