Description

Looking for test knitters for my next sock pattern!

Toe-up, mermaid-inspired socks featuring cables, a fun texture pattern, twisted ribbing, and a mitered heel.

The pattern is written for magic-loop, but can adapt to DPNs or 9" circulars. I recommend using DPNs to cast on!

Materials: approx. 400 yards of sock yarn (or fingering weight yarn) in your main color, 100 yards in your accent color. These are estimations of what you'll need.

Cable needle or circular needles, stitch markers, tapestry needle, scissors.

Gauge: 9 stitches, approx. 12-13 rows per inch (2.54cm) in stockinette

Sizes: A [B]. Size A will fit an 8”-9”(20.3cm - 22.8cm) foot circumference. [Size B] will fit 10” (25.4cm) foot circumference. These sizes may vary if your gauge varies, so do a gauge swatch!

Yarn used in photos is Wonderful Chu Chu Face from Kyla’s Lab (main color) and Totally Mermaid Magic also by Kyla’s Lab (accent color).
