Description

40% off yarn applies only to approved applicants and only to the recommended yarn that will specifically be used for this test knit and if the order is made within the next week (August 30th- September 5th).

I’d love to release the pattern in late September/ early August. I’ll look to progress reports to determine if this is reasonable.

Inspiration

One of my fave yarn dyers posted a beautiful pic awhile back on Instagram of a group of yarns that instantly made me think of early dawn here on the farm. The golden yellow sun breaks over the horizon and transitions to a light gray that is gently nestled under the rich blue remnants of the night sky. I knew I had to make something special from her inspirational color combo and Country Dawn was born.

Construction

The top is worked from the bottom up, flat. Back and Front are worked separately with a one stitch garter selvage each side of the lower body for seaming. An I-cord joins them at the neckline.

A long-tail 2-needle cast on is used for a stretchy edge at the hemline.

Charted and written instructions are provided for the lace section.

Gauge

20 sts and 28 rows = 4” (10 cm) in Stockinette stitch blocked with US 4 (3.5 mm) needles or size needed to obtain gauge.
