Longtail Cast-on Working in the Round
Description
This slouchy beret in an inventive stitch pattern works up quickly using two yarns. A simple four-stitch, four-round repeat creates a lovely textured fabric that is both warm and airy.
Both yarns are worked held together for the garter brim, then the main section is worked holding yarns A & B separately, one at the back of the work and one at the front, creating long floats which are picked up as one on the fourth round of the repeat.
NOTE: This is not stranded colourwork, but experience working with two yarns in a round is an asset.
