Yarn Requirements

Sizes Available

Standard, Slouchy

Skills Required

I-Cord
Intarsia

Description

This pattern uses a unique intarsia in the round technique. Pattern describes the steps needed to work this method. It is worked top to bottom, with an i-cord bind off, and applied i-cord on the caston edge.

You will need two colors of aran weight yarn. For my sample I used Hedgehog Fibres Merino Aran. But you can use any heavy worsted or aran yarn you would like. It looks best if you have two colors that are high contrast. Estimated yardage is 125 yards per color (250 yards total) for the standard size. I do not have an estimated yardage for the slouchy size, if you would like to work this size, I would plan on 200 yards per color. If you do not have an aran weight yarn, you can substitute a heavy worsted.

All testers will be expected to give feedback once completed. Compensation will be sent upon completion of the pattern test.

You can work whatever size you prefer. For plus size wearers, I recommend the slouchy.

If you have any questions or problems please during the test please contact me immediately. This is an advanced pattern, although can be accomplished by an intermediate knitter. If you are having problems, it may be the instructions pattern and not you. I want to ensure that this technique is fully explained in a way that everyone can understand it. So, if you get hung up, please don't think it is you and try to fight through.
