Description

The Only Up Slipper Socks were created to mark the first anniversary of Fiberly’s launch. The pattern uses a series of slip stitches to create a textured v-shape on the top of the foot.

The pattern was designed specifically for “dip and speckle” style hand dyed yarn. It has an all over slip ribbing pattern breaks up the stripping effect that can sometimes happen in dip-dye yarn. While this pattern was specifically designed for “dip and speckle” hand dyed yarn it looks great in any color or dye style, including solids.

Needles: 5US and 3US

Pattern is written for magic loop, but you can use whatever your preferred needle setup is for small circumference.

One tester needed for each size.

Socks are worked toe up.

Pattern is considered advanced. You should be familiar with basic sock construction.

This is a fast project. Testers are only required to complete one sock for the pattern test.

The yarn used in the sample seen is not available until April. You will need to substitute with any smooth worsted weight yarn. Hand-dyed would be ideal.
