Description
About The Pattern
This triangular shawl is designed to remind us of the more meticulous parts of life that slow us down when we are racing at full-speed. I’ve designed this shawl with lace motifs to encourage you to slow down, enjoy the details, and press forward with patience. It includes two lace sections and two strips of garter, with tassels added at the end if desired. The repeat sections are long, but the stitches are not difficult once you’ve practiced them a few times. (Stitches include SKP, SSK, etc.)
This pattern currently only includes written instructions. The tassels are optional, even for testers.
Number of Testers: 4
Deadline: December 18, 2019 (Can be extended a week if necessary)
Tools: US 1.5/2.5 mm needles (or size for your desired fabric), darning needle, 4 stitch markers
Optional Tools: Progress keeper
Materials: 635 yds / 145 grams Fingering Weight Yarn. (I used an additional 88 yds / 20 grams for the tassels.) I used Tippy Tree Yarns Sparkle Sock in Branches.
Testing Requirements: 1 completed shawl, at least 1 high quality photo of the finished object on a completed Ravelry page, completed survey.
This test is being held on Ravelry in a test knitting thread here.
