Description
TEST KNIT IS FULL
This will be a challenging but fun test knit for you.
This top down sweater is mainly worked in the stranded knitting technique. Not more difficult than usual but the increases from the top yoke are made in unusual places. Therefor it is not possible to describe them in charts as a designer normally would and to understand the instructions you have to be open minded a give it a little more concentration.
Also this design is available in only one size (sample is about size 38-40 European size guide) but of course there are ways to compromise the pattern and adjust it to your personal needs.
What I expect from you: You are able to knit stranded and can CATCH FLOATS. the moment we start you will follow the instructions from the pattern. The first two weeks might be the time when we will work the most, because after the increases are made, everything is quite simple again. I expect that you won't need my help anymore from there on. And you don't have to finish the whole sweater in time.
What can you expect from me: I will guide you through your way of yarn choice as this will be the first importing thing to customize your sweater. You can basically work with any gauge AFTER we discussed it. I will help you through the maybe difficult part of chart A and do the best I can to clear things up. Also I will help you to make the sweater bigger by adding extra increases if necessary in the right places. But I can only do that to maybe up size 44-46. I do not except bigger sizes for this test knit.
Furthermore I want this to be a personal and quite test knit that will be run through mail only. I would like to get to now you a little better and hope that you will be open to questions I have as well.
At this point I rather not share complete pictures of the garment, but if participate, you will receive more pictures and the pattern.
