Yank Bee Soft and Sleek DK would work, as well as Berroco Modern Cotton DK.  If you have questions about yarn substitutions, just ask. This sweater will use  370 (400, 450, 510, 570, 610, 700) yards of a main color and 40 (40, 50, 60, 60, 60, 70) yards of scrap yarn in 6 different colors. You can also choose to do this tweed in 3, 4 or 5 colors if you wish.

Description

Update: I just added a few testers but still have 7 spots open.  Thanks all!

Spring Thing Tweed is a classic fit, cap sleeve top with a ballet neckline.  Made in two pieces and seamed together this project will include schematics, photographs of the only tricky part of the pattern (the neck line) and a video tutorial (I am editing this now) on how to get the right tension when working with post stitches.

Craft: Crochet

Due Date: January 25th

Materials: I used Classic Elite Mika for this project.  Any heavy Sport weight or light DK weight yarn would work for this project. Yank Bee Soft and Sleek DK would work, as well as Berroco Modern Cotton DK.  If you have questions about yarn substitutions, just ask.

I used a 4.25 / G / size 6 hook for this project.

Sizes range from a 28/ Extra Small up to a size 54/ XXX Large.

This is a super fast project, and I completed the sweater and wrote the pattern in about 3 weeks.

Expectations:

  • This pattern has been professionally tech edited already, so you should not have any typos or missing information.
  • I do need you to complete the project as written.
  • I also need pictures of your progress and communication about any issues with the directions, stitch counts being off or bad fit.
  • If you liked the pattern and the garment a post to a Facebook crochet group or to your Instagram, with a link to the pattern.

Posting to Ravely using my test code would be great but would be an extra.

To apply, please go to my website www.crocherrebellion.com/wips and scroll to the bottom of the page.  You will see a tester form.  I respond to everyone who fills one out and will add everyone who gets selected to an Outlook Group and  my Ravelry test.
