The Where the Buffalo Roam Shawl is a large, cozy cabled shawl design – perfect to keep you warm on the cold plains where the buffalo roam! This design is one of four patterns in the My Forever Home collection, a collection of knitting patterns dedicated to my home state: Montana.
The Where the Buffalo Roam Shawl features cabled motifs that represent the wheat that is grown in the plains of Montana, which, of course, is the same scenery for where the buffalo roam.
This pattern creates a triangle shawl that is worked top down. In addition to the way I have ordered my sample, I have included three alternative concepts for color and repeat variations. I will include those in the third comment of this thread.
I will be adding fringe along the whole bottom of my shawl -- that is an optional part of the pattern.
