I remember my grandmother teaching me how to sew when I was 6 so I probably first learned to knit and crochet around the same time.
Since then I've taught myself and decided to become certified through the Craft Yarn Council. I taught both knit and crochet at Michaels. I've also offered free classes at area libraries.
A few years ago after selling some items I decided to become a legal small business. I've also participated in area art shows.
I enjoy pattern testing because it allows me the opportunity to learn new techniques while providing knit & crochet designers with a fresh set of eyes. And I've met some really nice people.
I like making things for my grandchildren and introducing them to fiber arts. They enjoy designing many of the things that I make for them.
