When I was about 9 or 10 my grandmother taught me the basics of crocheting and knitting. I played with it on and off for years. Then about 5 years ago I rediscovered the art. With all the trauma I've had in my life I discovered how crochet reduces my stress level. I haven't stopped crocheting sense. I have taught myself new stitches and watched tutorials. I enjoy the calming effect yarn gives me. I am constantly making something. Blankets are probably my favorite to make because of the expression I can give them. Each one has a story built into my work.
