My name is Julia and I live in Lincoln, NE. My grandmother and great grandmother taught me how to crochet when I was about 12. Over the years I had picked it up every once in awhile. When I was pregnant with my 3rd baby I was looking for something to make her but felt only drawn to the knit patterns I was finding. So of course I decided this was the best time to learn a whole new craft and jumped right in! I made some small scarfs, bracelets, headbands, and then a hat for her. Put down the needles for about a year and then picked them up when pregnant with baby number 4. Made him a blanket and hat. Picked up my needles here and there. But about 1.5 - 2 years ago I started to "really" knit. It has become part of my everyday life and I love it!
