As a science teacher by trade, the only thing I was used to creating was chaos in the science lab, but a previous student challenged me to learn how to knit.  Inspired by her, i took YouTube and learned the basics.  The first week, I stayed up all night long knitting my first project, a hat.  I finished a hat and earned blisters in the process.  Since then I have taken on a number of challenging projects from socks to sweaters, color to cables, and even some illusions!
