During my senior year in college I took a seasonal job at a chain craft supply store mainly for the employee discount. Every evening I would be sent to the back of the store to organize the yarn before closing.That’s when I first fell in love with yarn and soon took up crochet. A few years later I picked up a learn to knit kit and taught myself how to knit and haven’t stopped.
I have a bachelors degree in studio arts with a concentration in painting and print making. If I'm not knitting I'm sketching, playing with clay or cooking. I plan and organize conferences held at the college in town as my "pay the bills" job. I'm very organized and don't like missing deadlines, but am also very flexible and laid back.
The past couple of months I've relied on knitting to help me get through the pandemic and started testing for different designers. I truly love helping your vision become something any knitter can enjoy.
