I learned to knit while in the fourth grade and played around with the craft off and on until I got interested again during my teaching career. As stress relief, I made scarves, ponchos, and doll clothes. I’m now retired and make shawls, hats, blankets, dishcloths and towel toppers for charity, gifts, and a few for myself. I have completed test knits (shawls and hats) for designers on Ravelry and Yarnpond. Doing test knits has allowed me to learn new skills while helping designers make their patterns easier to follow.
I’m also a wife of 40 years, mother to two sons, and have two grandchildren. Two cats also call me mom. I enjoy reading when I don’t have needles in my hands.
