A great-aunt taught me to knit when I was about 4 years old, but it didn't really stick. I learned again in high school, but it didn't really stick then, either. I picked up needles again when my youngest child was about a year old, and it feels like I haven't put them down since!
I do a lot of knitting for Wool-Aid, which means mostly worsted-weight or heavier sweaters, hats, and mittens, though I occasionally knit something for myself, a friend, or a family member.
