My sweet Grandma put a crochet hook in my hands when I was 5 years old and taught me how to make a chain. When I kept getting into her yarn bag and tried to knit on some of her projects, she said, "Oh happy day, this grand-girl has the fever!", so she taught me how to cast on, knit and purl. Over 50 years later, I still have 'yarn fever' and I thank Grandma everyday for teaching me how to knit. Now that I've retired, I'm knitting all the time everywhere. I've also joined the Clicks & Sticks guild and thoroughly enjoy all the new tips, tricks and techniques from this fantastic group.
