As a hobby and craft I have been knitting from an early age, learning from my mother. In high school I started to take a more serious approach towards knitting and began to learn more advanced knitting techniques and make my own patterns. I'm passionate about unusual color combinations, geometrical shapes, intarsia and I love mixing different types of yarn textures.
When I was a child I'd flick through the pages of knitting magazines from the 80s and the 90s all the time, so it's no wonder that I'm quite influenced by the aesthetics of those decades. These days spending hours with my trusty knitting needles and a good movie is how I unwind after teaching all day.
