I taught myself both to crochet and knit. After crocheting for about eight years I decided to try knitting, and I have been knitting ever since.  I prefer knitting to crochet, however I do still crochet once in a while.  I enjoy a challenge.  I am constantly looking to improve my skills.  For example, just a couple of months ago I learned to knit a process developed by Zandy Peters called stacked stitches, which I love doing.  I also learned to brioche knit, and even in crochet, this year I learned to do Tunisian crochet.
