I’ve been crocheting since I was a child. My mother taught me the basics and set me loose on numerous wonky dishcloths. I didn’t get serious about it until I graduated HS and needed something to do with my free time (which is laughable) while I attended nursing school. It helps me keep my hands busy and decreases my anxiety. Now I’ve delved into the realm of testing patterns and I’ve found I like assisting designers in creating a beautifully written pattern for their customers and I’ve developed some really awesome friendships.
I’m married, we have fur-children (2 labs and a cat). My husband and I enjoy the outdoors, camping & hiking.
As far as patterns are concerned, I am not into amigurimi at all, I’ve tried and it’s just not my thing. Lately I’ve been testing clothing patterns. I really prefer to see what I’m making before I test. Or at least while testing. Sometimes it helps to understand what you are looking for. I’ve often been told I have great attention to detail, and provide excellent notes. I look forward to working with you.
I recently started learning Tunisian crochet and I am hoping to expand my skills and assist anyone who may be developing patterns so that we can expand those available.
