I was originally taught how to knit by my very patient granny....I was 10 and managed to finish a scarf. It changed widths six times and is about the length of a swimming pool! But I still have it today and it makes me smile. I dabbled in and out of knitting in my teens but when I became a mum for the first time I got the bug again. This time taught by my incredibly talented mum, who continued her knitting business after retired from teaching (biology of all things!). She taught me to spin and knit and then crochet, recently she taught me to machine knit on my new (old) Bond machine. I love creating dresses or jumpers for my daughter and matching items for my husband!
