I learned to knit as a child, my mom taught me and I use to knit scarves as a child. My grandmother who was a crocheter, taught me to crochet.  I picked up my knitting as an adult in my early twenties ,1984. I was married and settled and learned more stitches.  Joined my LYS knit group and began making sweaters for just the price of yarn.  Sweaters by Sue.   I stopped knitting to raise my children and picked it up when they were older, I also became a family child care provider.  I’m still knitting, kids are nurses  and I’m still a family childcare provider.  I’ve expanded my love of fiber to spinning and weaving.  My go to at the end of my work day is knitting, it relaxes me.
